Daisy and Will, the sweetest couple you could possibly dream up. Their Islington Town Hall ceremony to Clerkenwell’s Coin Laundry reception via double decker bus met the perfect balance of casual yet classy, a truly top choice of venues.

A sunny day in North London is always such a treat. The Islington Town Hall courtyard makes for such a stunning backdrop pre and post ceremony, but that bright sunny sky even further amplifies the setting. Within 5 minutes of my arrival, every single one of Daisy and Will’s guests felt as though they were old friends of mine. What a joy it was to meet this kind and friendly bunch of people.

After a lovely ceremony, we briefly made the most of the town hall’s beautiful interior with natural light beaming in through the hallway windows to snap a few couples portraits. It was Daisy and Will’s choice to keep the portraits to a minimum, but without taking more than ten minutes of their time away from guests, we made some beautiful and natural portraits that they now have to cherish for a lifetime.

After a post ceremony mingle in the sun shine, it was all aboard the red bus to Coin Laundry on Exmouth Market. This might be one of my favourite reception venues yet. The location sits perfectly on the border of Exmouth Market in Clerkenwell. A corner that soaks up all of the afternoon light that North London has to offer. Bright even on a cloudy day, but we were lucky enough to get beaming rays of sunlight and a blue sky which illuminated the inside of the venue in such a flattering way, while leaving the front courtyard perfectly inviting for some fresh air.

As the evening progressed, the basement dance floor started calling. We ventured downstairs, and the celebrations turned up a notch. Phenomenal music selection had the room bustling, and the downstairs bar kept everyone hydrated.

Daisy and Will opted for their day to be captured entirely on film. I think the aesthetic complimented the vibe of their day perfectly.
