Real moments & real smiles.

Hello hello, I’m Cody.

I specialise in documentary style wedding photography, with an editorial influence.

For lovers who want to live in the moment of their day, while looking damn good at the same time.

We will snap a few lovely portraits of you as newlyweds (it would be rude not to, you’re going to be looking fab).

The day will otherwise be revolving around you doing your thing.

A newly married couple stands in front of a red double-decker bus, smiling. The groom wears a black suit and the bride wears a white wedding gown and holds a bouquet. The bus has wedding decorations and a sign advertising a wedding special.

Calm and authentic is the vibe.

Let’s keep things real around here. Your wedding day is for you to celebrate with your people, not for me to steal you away for an all day photoshoot. I’ll capture all of the beautiful moments that make your day special while you enjoy being with your people.

You will still have the aching cheek muscles from excessive smiling, but it will be from natural causes rather than a demanding photographer.

My approach caters to those who would like a behind the scenes perspective of their wedding, alongside all of the essential family and group shots.

I’ll capture those moments that you might otherwise miss - the laughs, the smiles, the naps, and the legends of the dance floor.

A person with dark hair in a bun is touching another person's hair on the side of their head. The person being touched is smiling and dressed in a dark suit, shirt, and patterned tie. There are other people and city buildings in the background.
A woman wearing a red shirt with rose embroidery is sleeping with her head resting on her hand at a restaurant table. The table has a large rectangular pizza with toppings including green peppers and mushrooms. On the table, there are drinks, including a glass of soda with lime, a glass of water, and bottles of alcohol. The background features graffiti-style posters and photographs on a brick wall, with one prominent poster featuring the band Pink Floyd and a collage of images.

I choose to photograph predominantly on film for its timeless aesthetic and nostalgic appeal. I believe that the results stand out and feel unique in today’s overly digital world. This is what makes film perfectly suited to capturing a wedding day if you ask me! I will however always have a digital camera or two on hand - so if that is your preference just let me know.
